Mice under dryer floor

We have had a mouse plague under a wooden dryer floor this year. We think we have got most of the little darlings, any top tips how to stop this happening?? We always nail some blocks in the end opening before filling the shed. We often have wheat in shed till June.

Make a false shutter with hole in, place trap just through hole. Got loads that way.
Or a glue pad on same location.

My dad says place razor blade at bottom of said hole. Mouse pops head out, looks left, looks right, slashing its own throat. Another of his crazy ideas

We sealed floor hatches with silicon, anything that prevents grain leaking under the floor helps

I had a big problem under mine. When blowing out the ends I was collection loads of stones where they were digging out the concrete joins. The shed would also be running with mice that had been blown out. I started putting a scoop of mouse poison, under each floor end once cleaned. I have not seen a mouse since.

I normally store wheat till June,I've found you need to be fanatical about getting all traces of old crop out of your store,l will leave the end doors off the floor dryer open, I'll go in tunnel with fan running and blow all grain/dirt out the ends,(2 man job elf/safety)and bait every day till they stop taking it,also alternate the bait poison.
Clean up any old bait, before using store;)

Sticky pads are the best. We took out 250 mice overnight a few years ago by putting these down where they run. Now we clean the sheds down thoroughly with an industrial cleaner ensuring there’s no food to eat.

This only works if you bait it first. You need to put a piece of cheese through the hole for a week.
Mouse looks through every day and eats the cheese.
On the seventh day you stop putting cheese , the mouse comes pokes his head through hole and looks right and left, muttering “wheres my cheese” , and slashes his throat.
