Any tips on getting capital grants on mid tier? I'm after getting a good amount sheep fencing, wooden gates and stone hedge work.
I see its points based on a case to case basis. Do I need to be putting in something more eco.... like bird seed, margins etc to give myself best chance or not as would rather kept simple.
Cheers

I have got someone to sort it couldn't get any where with RPA, NE seem to have disappeared, after hanging on the phone for ages a very nice lady from RPA referred me to the internet. Bloody hell! you would need several days to read it all, how the hell you are supposed to remember it all, and then you have to go through all the different options of types of field margins etc AB1 Nectar flower mix, AB8 Flower-rich margins, AB15 Two year sown legume fallow to name but 3, they pay over £500/hect for those, can I earn that sort of money growing corn? If you go on GOV.UK you can get all the options. Good luck

It’s not meant to be easy.

A lot of the capital grants in the mid-tier are available if you are in a designated sensitive water catchment area.
If you are, there will be a local Natural England rep that deals with your area. My advice is speak to them. Our local chap was really helpful in explaining it all & helping getting our application in.
