Milking Management Services (Mike)

Looking for farms that used to have mike Janik (milking management services) to test their parlours. Sadly mike passed away this week at home,he was a brilliant bloke and a great family friend that solved many problems for farmers. Mike didn’t have much family and his friends were mainly his farms he went too,mainly covered Cheshire/Shropshire but would travel anywhere in the country,he was a member on here but never really posted @MMS i have managed to tell most of his farms he used to do around here that he often spoke about to me,but I know he knew hundreds of farms up and down the country so I thought I would try this! Thanks

He was a very clever bloke,he had been testing our parlours for over thirty years.thanks for the reply if you or your family know of anyone else he went too and could pass the message on I’d be grateful.there will be a lot of farmers trying to get hold of him for parlour tests/problems etc

so sad,he lived for farming!loved it!i would spend a few hours a week on the phone to him. I was getting concerned as he hadn’t replied to for a few days,phone straight to answer phone,no reply to emails so I tried a few other farmers that spoke often to him.one said he was concerned as he hadnt been when he said he was coming, so contacted the police and they found him.so sad he lived on his own and very little family.

oh dear, mike used to test our parlour a number of years ago, as you said bloody good bloke. I have a few old contacts who I ll pass the sad news onto.

Yes will do,with the powers of facebook etc we’ve hopefully managed to track his brother down

I'm a close football friend of Mike's, he normally comes to mine to watch Man United so was concerned that he didnt come on sunday or reply to my txt saturday. I've become more worried over the last few days, especially as both myself and my son have heard nothing so searched online to see if I could find anything out and to say I'm devastated is an understatement. Please, if you find out anything about when his funeral is let me know

Mike's funeral is thursday 31st at st wilfred's Roman catholic church, northwich, 12 noon
