What is happening at Mill Engineers? I see Cheffins are doing a sale selling off Combines, tractors, Teleporters and Balers plus loads of spares,

I agree, wouldn't have thought there will be too many bargains, more of an excuse to have a sale of used kit from across the group. I may be wrong though.
Probably just having a clear out of stuff that only people like DB John would find useful. And no I don't mean that in a nasty way.

They have moved to a new site adjoining Cirencester market.
The new workshops , stores , offices and yard are all brand new, covering a large area. Class is in huge letters on the side of the building,no mill engineers sign anymore!!!
I think Claas may have closed some depots and built this new one, but I may be wrong, all in the name of progress. ???

if there moving to new site why not take all the spare with you i think there will high reserve on all lots

Perhaps they do not want to clutter up the new site from the word go.
I wonder what the late Mike Wiggins would have thought of it all,if any of you can remember him.He certainly did not suffer fools gladly!! Years ago I was told that Lord Apsley thought that he deserved special treatment from Mike, because of who he thought he was ,but Mike soon told him otherwise, knowing Mike I am sure that story was true (y)(y)

New site is vast, up round the back of Countrywide Store, very smart. Suspect Mr Ford will be a happy chappy, guess it's rented? Seem a fair few Lexions parked outside along with some tractors and handlers, last time I was up there. I guess they will be spares for when the others in the county catch fire!!
Smart site though, must admit.

Special treatment for Lord Apsley normally means another nought on top of the price doesn't it? :D

Big wave from Lord Apsley when I used fly past the stands during a polo match in the harvest. I can still see big red face on him, must have been hot day. Jolly sort though

So I wasn't the only one to make the mistake of driving past the stands , the one harvest season I worked there, the old Earl was not amused!!!
