that’s given me an idea…
You will have to patent that idea. We're just building ours now. Should have done it years ago. Got a little car trailer we used to lug feed about with at lambing time. I nearly gave it away recently!

Really pleased as no more lifting on and off, easier to store and easier to clean.

Thanks for the idea.

We had Roy Davey in to DD our Stubble Turnip/Rape & Berseem Clover (from Derrick Hughes) into SB stubble. Delighted with the drilling, and the crop is growing on well. Didn't have any rain for the first 5 days and we were mega dry! Growing well now though.

It is good stuff. Surprisingly though lambs only doing 80grams a day this last week. The field they were in had some grass run back, think they’ve picked up some worms. Wormed them all yesterday and will see what they do this week coming 🤞
Are they cut lambs
Lambs usually fly on rape , uncut will be slower
I'm a big fan of Stubble Turnips myself, but down to personal choice really,

I had a bunch of Charollais ram lambs in yesterday for bolusing, averaging 60-65kg. There were a few dirty ones amongst them so did a fec as they were in the yard. They’ve not been wormed for awhile as FEC had remained low and they’ve been doing well.
FEC was only about 400, so not silly high, but half of the eggs were nematodirus eggs, explaining the squitty ones. I gave them a white wormer while bolusing.
Late hatch that would stop lambs doing maybe?
