Minette did well on QT

Minette is a class act, she had James Cleverly on the ropes on food standards. Time after time he refused to answer the crucial question. Will Boris allow food imports that it would be illegal to produce in the UK? The question was greeted by a full applause from the audience. Cleverly, not an appropriate name for this too often produced Tory spokesman, was all too obviously evasive. Minette’s last word was the Government had to legislate. Fiona then took the debate to the audience, believe it or not to a “farmer", who rather than being supportive promptly agreed with Cleverly’s evasive nonsense leaving Minette’s hard one point stranded. When oh when will farmers stop shooting themselves in both feet? Minette is way better than we deserve. All after 40 minutes in.
