Mirror who pays for it ?

Had problem with car. Power fold mirror gear wheel snapped . Dealership repaired mechanism but broke mirror lense whilst repairing (was in perfect order when they started)
Was then landed with a bill for new lense plus fitting , "can't be helped one of those things was response . (It's a main dealer ) it happens all the time . I refused to pay for something they broke , after strong words were exchanged they decided that they would sort it out foc .!!!

You were right to refuse payment. They broke it so they should fix it. Worst thing is though that you have had to fall out with them over something so petty. I cant believe how short sighted dealers have become, and all over something that would only cost them a few quid. Do they seriously expect customers to return for another new car when the time comes having been treated so badly?
