Um,
Asking for a friend here
If one was foolish enough to borrow one's wifes car with Bluetooth not set up, and very very foolishly answered the phone and happened to be pulled up by the police what is going to be m um, my friends fate? The police gentleman was polite, even thanked the driver for his honesty, but vague on that as a decision is taken elsewhere.
My friend is A very displeased with himself, B sheepish in the extreme, and C nervous of the outcome..

Ah well look on the bright side at least now your 'friend' will be les likely to use a phone whilst driving and so may have lees of a chance of endangering his life or someone else's. Bad enough being caught by a cop at the roadside, worse being caught by forensics with someone lying in the road with a sheet over them.
Absolutely, that point has certainly been reflected upon already.

Don't do it people!

He may be offered an awareness course instead of the points but I believe this depends on the area and the drivers history, just got to wait for the post man.

Do they not have to issue you with the paperwork in 28 days? after that it is invalid.
