Mobile weigh bridge?

hi,

Looking to invest, it needs to be easily transportable between farms.

I see a few out there are offering such things, does anyone have one that's mobile and have any feedback, good or bad to offer?

We need it for weighing grain at harvest along with bales for biomass.

Any feedback v welcome!

We bought a tandem axle weigher from Griffith Elder last year for harvest use mainly.
It is easy to move about and set up, just needs to be level but doesn't need to be on concrete. Can run off a car battery so doesn't need to be near the mains electric. Get the software that allows all the tare weights to be pre loaded as it saves time when weighing.
All in all we have been very pleased with it and have had no problems at all.

What sort of brass is this type of set up?

Old man has had a price for that one I think.

He hasn't done any other research and as always is Gun Ho.

I like to see what else is out there buts it's good to know that you @Clockwatcher are pleased with yours, thanks

Did you look at any other companies?

I did originally look at weigh pads at about half the price but they looked too flimsy and easily stolen whereas what we got is quite rugged and made for the job and needs a forklift to move it which will hopefully deter the opportunistic thieves.

They are a decent bridge, for ultimate accuracy the entry and exit ground level needs to be level with the top of the beam (IE dig the beams into the ground). Being a split weight bridge, the weight transfer between tractor and trailer changes when being pitched up and down onto the bridge, tractor and trailer need to be on the same level during weighing for accurate split weight weighing

We have the tandem axle weigher which I don’t think is made anymore, but we havent had any problems with it and have weighed a good many thousand tons with it over the years. Would definitely recommend them.
