Another case of Big Pharma.

Exactly the same is going on with the sugar in food debate. It has been clearly shown that we should cut sugar in processed food, but the fake food companies put millions into dubious research and have politicians and scientists on their boards.

What is frightening is when the same firms control the whole food chain from seed to finished product.

Monsanto et al don't give a fig about feeding the world, they only care about 'feeding' shareholders

Think you will find the anti sugar campaign is backed very heavily by the artificial sweetener industry.

Like the anti GM campaign there is absolutely no science behind , but often equally big bucks such as DuPont financed a lot of the early anti GM brigade

You've done extensive research into corn syrup then?
Is it any coincidence that corn syrup and gm maize could be inextricably linked?

I was talking about artificial sweetener industry such as Splenda saccharine etc.

But how is corn syrup linked to GM maize ? It was about a long time before GM was talked about
Of course huge amounts are made from it
