Moles and worms

I've been on a mole trapping campaign lately, and am now on top of the job.

Now the general consensus is that moles are bad and worms are good, but I got to wondering- is there ever a situation where you have too many worms? I'm thinking of light arable land, where you're trying to bulk-up the organic matter.
