Moles

I went past that Volvo place near Duxford on the A505 the other day.
What should have been a nice frontage with a good sized lawn. Looked more like the Somme with 100's of mole hills everywhere.

Can gassing them out be an effective way of getting rid. I have had success with rats this way with the exhaust pipe down the hole.

If you go onto..

You will find the trap page for suppliers of good traps or if you need help from a mole catcher in your area there is a list on one of the pages.

There are a lot of mole traps on the UK market that are not of a good standard which will effect your catch rate.

For those that haven't seen a white mole as mentioned in earlier posting look here ....

I know this has been posted previously but well worth a read for anyone who hasn't seen it

Although you would not believe how successful two of us with shotguns were in reducing numbers here last spring...

Would anyone bother setting a trap in a run with water sitting in it? I never have but I'm wondering if moles will still use them despite being so wet?
