Metjeffuk Severe Weather Warning in force for the end of the week

Monday:

It will be a mainly dry and fairly cloudy for most with brief sunny spells. Patchy rain mainly over hills dying out later. Scotland somewhat brighter but blustery showers in north. With lighter winds it will be feeling warm in sunshine. Temps range from 9C/48F in the north to 13C /55F in the south

Outlook Tuesday to Friday:

Dry and bright with warm some sunny spells for most throughout, but showers persisting across the far north. Cloud pushing into southwest on Wednesday, this followed by occasionally heavy rain on Thursday, Friday sees rain in the south pushing north for a time, maybe reaching central parts before slowly clearing, while temperatures should be around normal. But in the north a cold airflow is expected to become established, bringing showers or longer spells of rain, with snow over higher ground this spreading to most parts over the weekend warnings in force.
