Was looking at some bits and pieces from this website and was quite tempted. I did a quick search and it seems they are scammers. There are hoards of customers who have forwarded payment and received no goods.

Thought if post this here so people are aware that they should be careful.

Has anybody here been scammed by these people?

I knew I recognised the name!!! I paid for a mill and mixer from these people who advertised online. This was back in 2003 so a long time ago! The delivery never came and I chased them and chased them for my money back to no avail!!! I just put it down to my own stupidity as I was much younger then!

Seems these people are still at it. Is there anyway to get these people done for fraud?

I think you need to be careful you are not libelling someone other than the one the OP refers to

I can assure you that Harry Lombardi is real as he's shorn my sheep in the past. He sells secondhand gear and moved to Lincolnshire a while back but was in Suffolk

This is their website but there may be others that are scammers around?

Ok, take your point. Maybe I am wrong. I'm sure the chap you speak of is fine. Wonder what everyone on the other forums are talking about then...

Lincolnshire CID are investigating them......
Hi All -seems I am another "near" victim to the above -ordered 2 items on line and got direct e-mail from Lisa Lombardi confirming order and delivery date -she requested payment but subsequently agreed to Cash On delivery. Never heard from her since probably because she didn't get my money upfront -Visit RiverFarm Forum for more shockers about this company -PS Sandpit Farm- I know Harry Lombardi is real howver is promoted on Lisa Lombardi's moo2ewe website -think he probabaly knows whats going on and it a'int doing him much good.

Out of interest Anglian Farmer - did you do a search on them before ordering? At the time we placed our order last year - we also did a search and found nothing irregular about their business or any unpleasant experiences! So we stupidly transferred the money direct to bank account..... Herein lies the problem - had it been a credit card or paypal (which they don't use) then you are covered. Direct bank transfers are definite no-no!! Which we have learnt to our cost... We are now hundreds of pounds out of pocket and no goods either. There is a group of us going down the fraud avenue from all over the UK. Most of these people have exhausted the "small claims court" system - adding extra to the lost money! It seems like you had a lucky escape - which is why we have been putting it about on the forums - if you must deal with them then it has to be Cash On Delivery or Collection... This family are very real and still continue to trade.. Angry - doesn't even cover how we all feel.

no -didn't check company out first -one of the items was a Sheep weighing scales and although Lisa Lombardi assured me it was in good working order on her e-mail wasn't going to pay until seen it on her promised delivery -which she was apprently happy with -Since posting yesterday the stories I've subsequently heard from other farmers about the firm and the people mentioned on the website a'int good -really is about time something is done -in this regard I've e-mailed Lincolnshire Trading standards who are allegedly investigating the family.

This woman is a con, she takes people's money with no intention of supplying or despatching her 'so called goods' be warned she will steal your money like the thousands pounds she already has. This is why Boston CID have arrested her and her family, trading standards are investigating and the whole of lincolnshire is gunning for them.

This is a very dishonest family. The mother Lisa runs the whole show. I have been conned by these people they now owe me £300.00. Trying to contact these people is impossible as they never answer their phone The number i have is 07454563648, is this still their number. Been to their property in sutterton lincs. and seen them run in the house hiding. I have asked around about this family and their so called business. They seem to owe thousands of pounds to many people. My advice is stay well away from this family. They are nothing but bad news
