How long does it take for MOP and TSP from application to being effective to to crop? Is it even worth applying after in may?

It depends on rainfall. TSP isn't particularly soluble. MOP isn't much better. That shouldn't stop you applying it but if you've got a deficiency you may want to consider something more soluble in the meantime to keep the crop fed. What are you indices like? Base saturations? Any tissue tests?
