Have got a shed roof that desperately needs the moss removing, is there a reliable product that I can spray on so that the moss dies and falls off? What can I use to stop the moss coming back? Any other hints welcomed.

H&S meeting the other year reckoned a copper wire stretched along the ridge would stop it, so maybe a copper spray would kill it.

Slightly more expensive method, but replacing the sheets with plastic coated tin works too!

Some of our asbestos sheets looks more like turf rooves. I hate to think of what weight is up there when its wet - must be as bad as a 6" covering of snow if not more.

P.S Am I the only one to use "rooves" instead of "roofs"? Rooves lookes weird, but I always say it that way because "Roofs" sounds stupid.

had to have ours power washed to get the moss off.
in fairness it had never been cleaned in 30yrs.

great intentions are to spray with Chlorus once a year to keep it clean
