Just paid £120 for 5 litres of Kantor to go with palio herbicide, seems alot , am i having my leg lifted?

No it does cost that. I want to know whats so amazing about it. I use it with Broadway Star. It works out about £3.60/ha

Not bad when you look at it that way although only used a litre out of it for a 5 ha field .don't like having £100 quid of oil sat in store.

Agrii love pushing Kantor. They claim it works wonders from improving spray performance to curing arthritis (not). If you look at adjuvant use over the last few years, you can see this is where the companies are making their new margins. The only real adjuvant we use, apart from the ones you have to, of any cost is X-Change, and we have had our water tested to make sure we need it. What is the Kantor meant to be doing?

I just send all mine back, most of it is only a rape seed oil blend.

Kantor smells a bit like Xchange to me (proprionic acid??). I haven't looked it up what is in it exactly, but the label says buffering agent and adjuvant all in one.

So, do you have hard water? Otherwise could use a cheaper adjuvant.

Cheaper to use Xchange plus another adjuvant?

Volume isn't everything! Non ionic wetter is 0.1% of water volume.

Non ionic is eg. Activator 90 and requires only 400ml/1000 litres

Don't bother with mystery adjuvants, just order the stuff you know and trust from those lovely De Sangosse people.

Phase II MSO works well with Axial, and cheaper than Adigor.

But yes- now Syngenta have mixed both active and adjuvant into one bottle.

Agral was the original non ionic, used to come in a bout a 250ml tin if I remember.
Didn't know what non ionic actually meant then either, sorry.
