Yes they’re spreading the mushroom compost around here, Horrible smell!

Farm has promised to plough within 48 hours. In the olden days, the plough would be virtually behind the spreader..

Not easy to avoid, houses are sealed as much as possible. Even considered packing bags and leaving for the night!

Thanks, they're true to their word for which we're grateful, and ploughing this morning, and wouldn't want to harm relationship either. Tbf they're ok really, we live in their back yard, and understand what needs doing to scratch a living in ag ( and if we fell out, we would come a distant second! )

You were too smug yesterday, sorry! Yep, wind shifted a bit, and field about 10m from us ploughed in so much fresher.
Is that Whitton and Frost who sell it? They appear to have a permanent heap near their yard.
Evil stuff, on a par with chicken muck.

I would not like to name names in public. But they do appear to shift a fair bit. I don't know how they live that close to the heap
