Mv accredited bfl?

Previously I have put a BFL ram over some of poorer Suffolk ewes to breed some commercial ewes as due to my MV status it is hard to find commercial MV ewes. It has worked well and I like the ewes however my source of mv bfl rams has gone, does anyone know of any mv accredited flocks and preferably ones that performance record?

It would seem I an looking for hens teeth here, I do know there are a couple of flocks in Scotland but not looking to travel that far.
So thinking aloud what would a Romney over a Suffolk be like as a commercial ewe?

What about a Lleyn over a Suffolk? Plenty of recorded MV Lleyns about, at sensible money, and any surplus ewe lambs would have the option of being saleable as breeders. A Romney X might be a more 'niche' market.

We run them alongside the Romney's and they do much the same job. They produce a more 'marketable' lamb than the Romney but perhaps tend to be a little soft. Ours will consistently lamb over 180% and are worth more as a cull. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow.

At Logie Durno Sheep we produce performance recorded, scrapie monitored and MV accredited BFL rams. Also we have two maternal lines created at Logie Durno, which are the Logie and Fronteira. So give us a private message if you want to find out more!
