AS said Manitou track rods are very expensive so what we did was , took a track rod off, took it to our local motor factor/truck parts where they measured the cone etc and found ones the same size. If I remember rightly they were for a Scannia lorry. We then got some adaptor tubes made up with the scannia thread one side and Manitou steering rack thread on the other. Screwed them together, job done. The Manitou track rods are quite long so there was room to do this, Ive never looked at case ones so I don,t know if its possible. The lorry track rods were well cheap and the adaptors made at a local machine shop are reuseable.

When looking for parts for Case stuff I often have a look at messicks website in the US. They have parts diagrams for case, new holland and kubota stuff all with prices. Often there is a description giving details which are not available even to european dealers and sometimes even a photo of the part. You can sometimes also find a "repair kit" listed for things which the european parts book says you have to replace. The part numbers work at the dealers over here even though the part is not on the dealers parts list.
