Should have kept my mouth shut. Maybe it's not asbestos.......it's prototype fibre cement introduced shortly after WW2....:censored:
Jeepers...there must be 20-30 ton on roofs here....something else to worry about.:(
nothing to worry about if its left in place and not touched ,make sure your covered for removal costs if there is a fire as all the debris in the shed will have to go to licence tip so if theres 3ft of muck it would get expensive

Bodged a repair on an old lean-to this week, a post a day.
The old posts looked like this.

untreated pine trunks, but they must have lasted 40 years but none of them had anything connected below ground level.

Now we've got proper recycled girders, concreted in. Tec screws and coach screws are marvellous. Bit of welding to fasten angle iron brackets to girders on Monday.
Next week's job when the builder's man and the builder start to get in each others way with the plastering is to strip the soil from inside the lean-to, put 20t of type one down and stick concrete down.
This is going to be dad's new workshop so we can knock down the Nissen hut.
He seems to be looking forwards to it.

It's this lean-to so nice and close if he's living in the house or the cottage......
It might also make a good site for biomass boiler. ;)

i take it you mean part A (the principal|) part b the details is this what has been rejected?

He now knows he should have put in for both parts together:rolleyes: it was the parking and something else they refused it on.:banghead:

The only other that was passed went to appeal as the planners refused it stating it was a listed building (it's a steel frame building only been up 15 years) they also stated it had a scheduled monument on the next field (when it clearly hasn't) our council have done everything possible to stop PD's,I've a good barn I want to put in for but it's simply not worth doing.:(
