Anyone out there with a nedap feeding station? We have bought a facom (mannebeck) a few years back but still have these chips laying around. Shipping charge only for who ever wants them. I have some other parts aswell lying somewhere.

I run Nedap but just buy cheap LF tags from Schippers with predetermined numbering.

I would suggest few people would compromise biosecurity by importing used tags??

How do you like the Mannebeck? I looked at them before buying the Nedap and was impressed. Only reason I went for Nedap was a local engineer that I use worked with Nedap

Good point on the biosecurity. They are washable I suppose.
I've never looked at a new nedap, going for facom for the reason as you went for nedap. Mine was from 2002 thereabouts, with the turning feed bowl. New station as just better in every aspect, much simpler really. Also the computerprogram is on another level, much easier and a superior overview. But hey, the old one had a keyboard with a small screen in it...
A drawback is that you need a serverbox for every three (I think) stations and another special computer for every station, plus a pc for normal use. You can hook it on the internet, make changes on your phone but I don't use that.
Also, not cheap if you look at what it actually is. In the end, I really like it.
How do you like the nedap, some photo's maybe?

They look like the non-iso NEDAP tags, mine are white, the yellow ones wouldn't work on my system.

I think that they could be disinfected totally - no worries there.

I have had the nedap for a year almost exactly - replacing the Hunday electronics but carrying on using the Hunday hardware which is now 25 years old and still fine. I found that the new electronics were a bit different to use than the old Hunday ones, I am getting used to them though, the great benefit is that they turn the stations off if there is ever a fault rather than leaving them open so more damage can occur.
