Issue with McCormick xtx 165 slight grinding noise going from 4 to 5 under load been told packs need adjusting can anybody recommend somebody

M spec has manual spools, 4 gears and 8 powershifts.
E plus has manual spools but you just keep pushing a button to change gear
E has push button gears and electric spools,
May have e and e plus the wrong way round.

Any one with a texa setup should be able to sort you out.
It’s too far for the guy I know

Calibrated thanks to xtx she is better but still a bit clunky anything else that can be done externally?

Not if it's an M tractor.
Trying calibrating after a days hard work.
The hotter the oil the better they calibrate.

Depends on what else can be done and at what cost

Might need a solonoid. There will be a bit of a jump between 4/5 on every range.
Texa will not do any pack adjustments.

When you change from 4 to 5
You are changing 4 clutch packs.
You will always get a slight delay
