Mole were doing new 2J units for less than £100 a bit back, I'd put the money into a new one instead, unless you are talking about a powerful and expensive unit.

We have hotline fencers, used to send them for repair through mole valley but used to take ages for them to ever come
back (typical mole valley). Now send them back to hotline direct and quite often they’re back within a week. Fixed charge to have a fencer repaired and normally comes back with all new leads/clips as well
