Nettles in Silage ground

I have problem with a lot of nettles in the grass I am going to cut for silage also some docks and thistles. If I spray with Pastor it will kill the clover and I have a lot of clover.
I was thinking about putting on the Pastor with a Weed Wiper although it is not approved for weed wiper use.
What are the thoughts here about doing this?
Has anyone done this and what were the results?

As the grass must be almost at the silage stage now, I would get it all harvested and cleaned off then spray the regrowth about two to three weeks later, that will give you maximum time before you take the second cut

The sheep were on it until 3 weeks ago and it had been grazed tight so it is only 6 inches high now an it will not be cut until late June as it will be belly fill for suckers.

Haven't tried it myself yet, but I'm told that Pastor/Thistlex works perfectly well with a weed wiper, mixed appropriately (1:20?). Some have told me you need to do them in two directions to get a good clear, but as said, I've not tried it.
I'd avoid glyphosate if you can. Not great on nettles and very easy to stripe & drip on grass.

I bought a load of pastor with the intention of boom spraying it onto some grazing fields for thistles ( not too worried about some docks as they are just minerals) soon realised it was going to cost me a small fortune so sent dad out with a knapsack. Covered 20-30 acres over the past week/10 days going well

Yes I think the knapsack sprayers ya best bet even if ya a week doing it, Pastor is a brilliant nettle dock killer, bramble and brush wood spray

I thought nettles were good feed. Knew a fella years ago who bred rabbits for meat, he would make his own nettle hay and would travel a fare distance to source them. He would cut big patches of nettles with an Allen sythe and then turn them by hand, once dry he would make them into sheaves.
