New 12ft ifor sheep trailer with decks. Fold down front?

Looking to order a new 12ft Ifor Williams trailer with decks. It will be mainly used for sheep. Just wondering if it's worth getting the fold down front? The dealer usually just orders the standard ones so would have to be a special order. Anyone have one? Does it help with loading etc?

I wanted a fold down front on mine but was told that the waiting list for one was months long.
Didnt bother in the end. Wont buy another ifor next time not just because of that though and i can see the factory from out farm.

I started a thread a few months ago asking for advice on buying a livestock trailer.
The responses lead me to definitely have a fold down flap.

+1 for fold down front. Your dealer needs to move with the times. Mine only brings into stock ones with fold down front. Need to close it to keep sh*t off the jeep when washing out though.

+1 for folding front. Loaded lambs this morning straight out of the race, they went straight up and packed themselves tighter than bottom deck. They’d never seen a box.
Leave down and quick blast down the road soon cleans top deck of straw/sawdust

Can the fold down front be fitted after or is it a factory job
Hi Jonny, fold down fronts are standard on all our Nugent Livestock trailers. We have 3 flaps so that you can control the air flow.
