Anyone running a new deutz combine and how's it going, had an old orange Fahr back in the day but no little of the new ones, it has an extra threshing drum which should help with output, if they could offer the imonitor gps with yield mapping then it could get people interested?

Fairly sure they are not badge engineered. The last one that we had was a 5675 HTS. I don't think that the fundamentals of the design have changed much.
They were very reliable and as a resuult, cheap to run. They gave a very good sample, but they have been left behind a bit output wise as their threshing drum only has 8 rasp bars as opposed to the 10 rasp bars fitted to most competitors machines.

Our dealer sold one last year. Deutz are a nightmare at sorting out problems. He said at llama they are pushing them hard to sell them now. Which is a change of tune.

Had a 6095 on demo last harvest , a serious combine but we would be deutz biased (4075 and 3610 here ) in a 3 tonne crop of barley with big straw volume ,traveling 8 km with a 24 ft head and not a grain out the back , normally our combines would be at around 5 km with our 20 ft heads and at that there would be small losses .All the combines were in the field together and the difference was easy see . I think they are there with the smaller rotor or hybrid combines without damaging straw which to us a good thing . Deutz seem to be back in the market after a few years absent and are pushing a good product .

Bought our first Deutz combine for the 2008 season and had 6 trouble free seasons combining, well except for a small crack appearing on the side of the combine by the shaker shoes. This was quickly rectified by our dealer.
As a result we have bought a new (well been on a couple of demo's with 30 hrs on the clock) Deutz 6065 hts balance for this season ,as a result of the previous combine's performance and reliability.Have noticed that the new combine has a strengthened side where,on the old combine, the crack appeared. Hopefully this has sorted it.
Deutz don't have the range of combines as their competitors do(especially large capacity),but what they do have perform well,IME.
