Has anyone converted an older CX or tx to take a hydraulic reel drive header? Or converted a header back to mechanical drive?

Has anyone converted an older CX or tx to take a hydraulic reel drive header? Or converted a header back to mechanical drive?

We have hydraulic reel drive on a cx8060 and my mechanic went into the screen and turned it off when trying to eliminate a hydraulic leak. He told me he just reprogrammed it to mechanical reel drive.
I would guess that you can do the reverse.
