New Holland CX combine drum variator... oil leak.

Have a modern CX combine that has a hydraulic variator controlling the speed of the drum on the left hand side of the combine. It has developed an oil leak in the seals where the hydraulic hose goes in (centre of drive pulley). The part is 2 days away (£350), so is there any bodge I can do in the mean time to stop oil spewing over the drum and unloading auger belts.? Incidentally it's exactly the same part as on my CR combine, so guessing it must be common across the entire modern range ?

Have a similar connection on a CX820. Has been weeping a bit for a couple of years but not enough oil to cause a problem so just put up with it.

Re-sealing doesn’t seem to work well on them.
