New Holland Dealer

The new holland dealer randomly turned up today with some person saying that i should trade my tm140 for a new t7 tractor of some sorts which i dont give a flying f**k about. I said i had no interest as the tractor only spreads slurry and runs the precision chop and is parked for the rest of the year, he then rung later and said he couldnt offer any deals or incentives on further purchases if i didnt buy this 'gem' of a tractor.

Should i just go to the other main dealer and buy off him or trade the tm140 in?

Surely he can't not give you offers in the future because you don't want to buy this tractor?
Im not sure its very odd its also a coincidence the machine has been sitting the yard for quite a while. Anyway ill go to the other NH dealer for any further purchases or issues thanks guys.

In an industry full of unprofessional reps I'd say this one is right up there.

Is this what these muppets are doing when they're not busy returning phone calls from actual real enquiries?

It sounds like he needs some intercourse..

Failing finding a willing partner, perhaps you should tell him to partake in it with himself...

I'm more interested in the 150.155.165 models cos they have a heavier front axle and a 10 ton chassis.

And I wouldn't part with a TM unless it was totally fecked and worn out either.

Edit I have heard of where there might be a 165 coming available it just depends whether

A- the pennies will stretch and

B- whether it's tidy enough to blend in with the brace I already have

Only @Nearly is able to answer the 2nd question.

Give the guy a break, did it make you smile, if yes, bonus
Did it waste a lot of your time, if no, a bonus....
You'll be on here in a year or so complaining that reps don't call on you anymore like Nick.......
He is doing his job, in his unique way. If you don't like it, smile then go else where. Trust me it's bloody tough for most reps that are on commission! They don't get SFP!

I would say the sales rep must be a complete muppet if he thinks this technique would work on any but a small minority of farmers, I would imagine the majority of farmers would never think very highly of him again and a few would blast him with some highly charged swearing and never deal with him again
