New Holland T 7 270 spool problems

Our 270 spools stop working as the tractor gets hot. The Green spool always works (so far) but the rest stop working generally in the order Brown,Black ,Blue.
The brown one stops working generally within 5 minutes of starting the tractor, the black one goes next then the blue after about half an hour of fairly hard work. This does seem to be happening quicker and quicker.
We fitted a new bank of switches 18 months ago as we had a problem there, so don't think they are the issue now.
Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know what the problem could be and how to cure it?

Nearly always the spool head itself. Speak to your dealer, or Mav Combine Rescue.

The pilot heads have a circuit board that is very unreliable on the early models.
Ive sent 3 to david king to be fixed successfully. @Combine Rescue might also be able to repair them

We had a similar problem with ours. Had been ongoing since December last year. All the spools were dropping out on ours though.

Turned out the dealer hadn't replaced plug properly when they put cab back on. So bad connection. Working fine now.
