Just seen this on a Facebook page, Seems to be a T5 with a T6 cab, and a 4.5l NEF engine.

Edit: This is the top model of the new T5 autocommand range, launching next week at EIMA

How much more power can new Holland put through a tractor which hasn’t moved on that much from the fiat 88.94.

We had a t5070 and it wasn’t man enough to handle the 115hp it produced.

Power is all very nice but we need weight to be able to put it on the ground

guessing it's gonna weigh similar to the t5.120 but probably a bit more. It sounds like it might be a pocket rocket.

You want a heavier tractor, you buy a T6...?

We had a T5 and it was completely different to a Fiat or the T5000 for that matter. It was more like a 40/TS size of tractor, heavier back end etc

my Uncles T5 was a heap of crap he bought it new and didn’t even keep it a year it was full of problems crap gearbox cab and gutless
Was always the last tractor someone would jump in
The T6 he got is miles better but a bit big around sheds with a loader
Hopefully they’ve done a good job with this T5

Yea it went in July, because of fathers health. Plus it was only doing about 1000 hours a year so no point having a new tractor for so little hours. 7740 has took on its work and the 7610s hours, so the 7740 will have to do around 1000-1500 hours a year, which isn’t really over worked.
That's a lot hours to put on a 7740 these days, well capable tho if maintained well enough...

What problems did you have with the 5070,ours goes well other than damper plate and brakes(my fault).I don't see the point of a T5 140 auto command,if it has a T6 cab, engine and gearbox going through a T5 back end,it wont really be physically smaller than a T6?

It's just another option isn't it though. WIll help satisfy the customers on the continent and veg and fruit growers, who only really have Fendt as an option in that size with CVT I would have thought.

Been talking about this with my brothers, got a maxxum 110 and it’s a perfect size stock machine, small enough with a loader on around tight buildings but big enough to use plough, power Harrow, mow, etc. The new maxxums seem so much bigger and clumsy. This new t5 and I would assume case will do an equivalent, looks to be the perfect stock machine again. Just hope they do a mechanical gearbox version.
