New Holland T6 hydraulic problem

Please can anyone help diagnose this problem which is proving difficult to solve.
New tractor.T175 dynamic command.
3 point linkage just stops working. Will not go up or down with the slider or quick lift button. It will still work albeit slowly on the armrest blister buttons . The % height display just shows a line of dashes .
I turn off the tractor for a few seconds. Start up.
All is good, though sometimes several attempts needed. May stay working half an hour or until job is done.
Tractor has had two new potentiometers ie the one on the L of the rockshaft.
Also it can suddenly cycle up and down a few inches all on its own. Very strange and it nipped my fingers when hitching up. Using the mudguard buttons stopped it.
Maybe someone else has same issue and found a fix? Any help gratefully received.
It’s a terrific machine otherwise.

If it lifts a bit on its own then it sounds like it’s drafting. Is the dial fully in positional control (has a T6 got the mix dial?) did the engineer fully calibrate the whole hydraulic system after fitting the potentiometers?

As to nipping fingers, you should really switch tractor off everytime you’re coupling implements on but I’m sure you will be cautious from now on!!

How do you fit an implement on with a tractor turned off ?

Correct procedure is position tractor as close as you can to machine with arms just about lower than the mounting pins, switch off, get out and fit balls and pins and set stabilisers in correct position. Get back in, reverse under the balls and hook on. Then switch off, remove key, get out backwards using three point of contact at all time and hook up remaining top link, pto, pipes etc. The outside buttons are there for minor adjustments when standing outside the crush zone, ie by the side of the wheel not from behind tractor with one leg over the hydraulic arm.

That’s coming from NPTC, City & Guilds tractor driving guidance sheet. Now don’t judge ne on what I’ve written but if you want to be a statistic then carry on hitching up with engine on. If you were an employee and injured or killed then your employer would be in for some serious grief for lack of training, guidance, protocol etc.

Anyhow, this is a thread about a hydraulic fault...

Thanks for the responses. I guess the technicians have done the obvious things. I was just wondering if someone else out there had exactly the same problem and found a permanent fix.
I hope they get a solution quickly.

Turns out it was a bit more complicated. Wiring harness and lower link sensors renewed. They took it away for a week.We have only used it a few times but seems to be ok now.
