New holland t6070 trans/hydraulic issues

Hi guys just a question we have our 2008 t6070 nh which started to slow down its hydraulic flow on the loader in the last 2 days. We pulled the hydraulic filter element out and found large fillings. On closer inspection they look like parts from a non tapered roller bearing approx 60mm in diameter. Has any one had the same problem and know where to start looking? Thanks stu

Some 55mm in transmission, i assume its the cage bits you have found, either way not good news if transmission it wants looking at before any more damage.

i believe some bearing in gearbox is common failure, search on here,

i would stop using immediately as you going to make the repair more expensive the longer you use it.

Yes nothing untoward was noticed with gearbox prior to us doing a change so hopefully we caught it early. The bits we found look like we have 3-4 of the rollers and a bit of the cage. Mechanic coming out today but gut feeling is that it will need to be spilt.

50 kph clutch bearing is a common failure on range command / power command.

Different arrangement on electroshift.

Get it checked before it's too late, continued use can cause oil pressure leakage to burn out the clutch plates and worse case the clutch hub wears into main diff casing.

Yep wed dropped all the oil out with filters so wont be going to far untill we find the problem

Ridger if it were the 19th gear bearing would it not have not made a noise or sound leading up to failure? Not that we hear or suspected anything prior

Hi there sorry hay seasons been hectic. Got the tractor back a few weeks ago. 4x4 bearing let go unfortunately, it sucked one of the tapered bearings up between the 4x4 competition drive gears and chipped a tooth. We had to get parts freighted from Europe as none in nz. With Christmas shut down thrown in it took 6 weeks to get back on the road.. not a cheap exercise
