New Holland T7 front PTO Rattle

Had a dealer fitted front PTO put on recently and ever since have had the most annoying tinkling rattle from that area, fitter was out today and said they all do it when the PTO is disengaged.

I will admit it’s less obvious when it’s engaged but it can still be heard, doesn’t seem a plausible reason to me, will try and upload a video but can anyone else with SWB t7 say if there’s also rattles...

That’s bad, so was it silent for the 4 weeks after new bearings? Mines been like it ever since it was fitted. Local contractor said his T7 with PTO is the same.

The fitter did say the LWB models used a different style of PTO.

Combined with the better suspension on LWB, I’m starting to wonder if they actually put much thought into the SWB models at all.

We've a t7 200 too and suspension is as good if not better than 260, it does have a front loader with softdrive think that helps.

I think weight helps them, it’s like a different tractor with the mower on the front. But the 245 I had on demo was leagues ahead and had the 3 stage adjustable suspension

Ordered and fitted by main new Holland dealer so I’d have thought it was oem... ?
Mmm hard to know sometimes, I used a 2016 t7.210 last year running the mowers with a zuidberg linkage/pto and it "ticked" while it was running with PTO disengaged, have a 17 on the mowers with factory linkage/PTO and it "ticks" but very faint compared to the 16

So the tech is coming back out again later today or on Monday to have another look, I can’t put up with this on a part that cost us over £3k fitted, Im very tractor proud and frankly the noise it’s making is embarrassing.
