has anyone welded/reinforced a cracked frame in situ? i was thinking some strips of flat down the back stitched onto the sides of the box section? looks a big job to take it all off

Ours fell off and bashed it like a thrupny bit.
Do it right and make sure the screen is fitted properly, was told it was the screen not seated properly that knocked it out of balance and broke the frame

You mean the cross pieces holding the screen on rather than the screen itself?

Yes I've strengthened mine up - not a difficult job to weld in situ. Your above the diesel tank though
Yeah the 25mm box section cross, I was thinking of putting some strips of flat down the back and maybe use tig welder for less sparks, what way did you strengthen yours?
