We have sold quite a few units , combi’s, TS, and u drill with the new metering units, they are very accurate, and easy to calibrate, the main difference being that it now only puts enough out of the Unit to fill the bag, so not 1/10 or 1/20 ha Like previous models.
So you set up a seed calibration, (there are 20 from memory) tell it seed type from list, rate and approx fwd speed, then press calibrate, it will tell you wfat seed roller you need to put in!
Jump out, there is a sleuce you can push in to shut the metering unit off from the hopper, change your roller, then it’s handy to have a little bucket to put under the unit, open the flap and press the pto button to prime the unit, then put the bag on, then press pto button again, it will then fill the bag, weigh it then enter in the box...

you can then do a test...it isjust a weight test, it will show on the screen what itexpects to send out...put the bag on and press the pto button, and weigh to check...normally within a gram or two!
Main thing to get right is calibration factor for the radar!!!! Get that right and they are very accurate!!!

Pics I have on my phone are of an e drill and old software, the new is slightly easier to use as there is a page for drilling, calibration, settings, etc...
But have one to set away as soon as the weather allows...
