New Lime Spreading kit

I have to admit that I have wondered if I would be best running two small spreaders.

Trouble is, where do I find a good, reliable and dedicated driver for one of them?

As it is I need to get through a hell of a lot of work in a short time, and I can’t do that myself with a small set up.

In a few years my lad will be making decisions about what he wants to do so I’ll make some changes then myself depending on whether he wants the job or not.

yeah well it would be a niche for smaller farms I guess, without lorry ramps as well but to avoid needing a fore end loader most farms even smallone s have got a decent loader and bucket now to load the spreader with or that the driver could borrow foran hour or 2.would need to be prearranged and trust that its availiable for use tho of course :cautious::rolleyes::D

I would sooner have 10t gross running around twice than 20t once so too speak iyswim
but weather plays such a big part in all of it , of course it does.

Local Lime Spreading contractors new set up,
That lot looks like the best part of 300 k worth of kit to chuck a bit of the white stuff about . :scratchhead::scratchhead:.
Be ok on stubbles not to sure you would want on ploughing.
There are people out there with big tractors weighing getting on for 20 tons working down land so what the heck .
