New pig building less than 400m from dwelling

I am looking to put a shed up for housing weaners however my planning guy says I have no chance due to been too close to neighbours though it is a farm but running a livery. It would be 150 m away from the closest point. His suggestion is I site it away from my yard down a field but then only thinks of a 50/50 chance and a lot more expensive to put up in terms infrastructure etc. Just wondering if anybody has done anything similar?

Go and ask neighbours if they had any difficulty getting planning for running a livery and change of use for the land for grazing of horses<chances they didn't have any permission so they won't be complaining

I have asked the neighbours and they are in support. No problems there just the planning consultant says no chance due to the need to protect there business.

It may be worth speaking to the duty planning officer And discussing your proposals with them as far as I understand they will want to keep buildings together rather than extending out into the openness of the countryside

400 metres is not far enough away, need to be at least 4000 metres away , I know a house at least 300 metres away , even the cloths in the wardrobes are f**king stinking

I thought as long as the occupiers within the 400m didn’t create too much then you shouldn’t have too many issues, N E have been our biggest problem with emissions.
