New respitarory disease in China.

European press reporting that samples sent to the WHO, by China, show it's a resurgent Pneumonia that was suppressed during COVID lockdown. Not a SARS virus

Thanks.

In my mind I was suspecting bird flu had jumped species, this has long been a fear. That rural Chinese live close to animals, that bird flu could spread from domestic poultry to pigs & then to pig keepers.

That is how the Spanish flu evolved & hit the young the hardest.

I would be really glad to be wrong, but this could be worse than corona virus.

Agh brilliant news, I could do with a couple of months to be paid to stay at home. Might buy a dog and refuse to go back to the office because I couldn’t leave poor Rex alone while I’m about it
You are some weird farmer then! :scratchhead:

It doesn't appear to be anything new or novel, just normal types of flu . But then again would you trust a spokesperson called Francois Balloux! :D
