Hope they control it, ill children is heart breaking, where ever they are.

In my mind I was suspecting bird flu had jumped species, this has long been a fear. That rural Chinese live close to animals, that bird flu could spread from domestic poultry to pigs & then to pig keepers.

That is how the Spanish flu evolved & hit the young the hardest.

I would be really glad to be wrong, but this could be worse than corona virus.

Not really if it was a new novel disease back then, its just a new novel disease now. Sadly one that is putting thousands of children in hospital.

Lets all hope there is an explanation or that it is stopped. Lilkely out of China already.

I don't really understand, do you mean lockdown or vaccine.

I think both bought us time.

In future we have to consider that a virus could be like the ones we've had in history, that really take out a large percentage of the population.

Of course lets hope this is just a bug
