New shipping container for bagged feeds - keeping from rats gnawing floor.. ideas?

The current shipping container has had it its got so many holes plus the rats have taken to gnawing through the floor. Went in there yesterday and rat poo and bags ripped open. No matter what metal plates I cover the holes they spend the night making a new hole.

So Im looking at a secondhand shipping container but want to keep this one vermin free from the start. How do I do this? Even if I plate over the top I dont want the floor wrecked underneath.

Best way forward?

Surely a bin got to be best way forward.

No cos its mixed bag food for the handful of hens, sheep nuts left over, an all rounder, bags of salt and bits and pieces its a general farm food store. We are organic so the food is very expensive and hate having bags broken and waste.

Not if they’re dead.
Why not just plate the existing container floor with full sheets of chequer plate and tech screws?
You also need to sit down with your JR, and explain that it needs to up its game: forklift under one end of the container and let the dog fly, the best sport there is!
Cos the container has had it, its old and rusted too many and the door is timber and broken - its rubbish.

Our JR was 15 last week shes no longer up to any work. Love her she was brillant.

Newer container it is then, now available with steel floors from Hapag-Lloyd.
And a young apprentice for your JR to pass her knowledge on to. A pup always breathes life into an older dog, whether they like I or not...
