is it for mixing barley in with the silage and are they expensive to run depreciation/maintenance wise? im curious about them
I cannot really tell you as both previous machines have been Keenan's. I wanted the versatility of a tub for doing things like bales and other fibrous material. I'll keep and I to costs as bales will take some processing but versatility comes at a cost.

It'll be used to mix silage, minerals and barley treated with buffergrain plus anything else that is required.

What spec and make is that?
Foton 5500, 50hp 4wd and it came with 3 point link pallet lifter (lift and tilt function). Will do for carting the muck from the horses and collecting hay/haylage. Small enough so the boss mrs would give it a try driving. Might change it over to turf tyres though. Going to adapt the forks to be able to put bale spikes on.

Not quite Redbacks but had to send me mum to get some new boots and drop them off in the field as the steel sole protector had decided to work its way out the side of my old ones and pretty much cut the sole off 🤦🏻‍♂️. Always seems a shame to get them dirty 😂View attachment 991977

It’s the difference between workers and possers....
Or dairy / arable as I like to think of them
No excuse for all that crap left in the corner though! There’s nothing wrong with a working machine getting dirty I mean mine’s filthy at the moment after all the rain 😗, but treating it like a dustbin isn’t on.

No there isn’t and words will be exchanged on Monday or sooner if I get even more grumpy.
There is a danger element too if a can rolled under a foot control

I think we must have his twin brother working with us, similar cans and bottles. Thankfully he is leaving in about a weeks time. Flys off the handle at the least wee thing, always at the Doctors about not putting weight on, and always running to the toilet. All I believe to be related to his excessive consumption of high caffeine energy drinks. He has a girlfriend who drinks the stuff excessively as well and is not uncommon for her to have to go to hospital with heart palpatations/ irregular heartbeat. And yet he maintains that drinking red bull etc is not the problem.
