1 in....1 out...sadly! Had really hoped that the time had come for 2 handlers to be viable but with price increases and lead times it just didn't stack up! Few changes to get used to, not sure all are for the better 😅 parked in the shed immediately and gave it a good ceramic wax, future me might be grateful 🤣View attachment 1047531View attachment 1047532View attachment 1047530

I really fancy a play in a Merlo for a few days, but our dealer can't get a demo.
That exhaust does look to hide the rh rear corner quite well though.

Still waiting for ours been over a year now
What have you gone for? The mudguards don't cover as well as the last one, no LED lights (think our previous dealer fitted those) and new joystick just seems change for the sake of change! On the plus side, yes the rear DPF exhaust is different but has freed up loads of room in the engine bay, so less heat

There's no credible alternative to it ATM for us, to get that height you usually drop to the sub 85hp handlers whereas this is stupidly capable! We previously moved from the Manitou 627 Compact but the cooling system and small engine bay made it impossible to clean out more than 1 chicken house at a time, never an issue with the Merlo. Granted the last one had adblue issues, what doesn't these days to an extent! Believe it or not it's that compact you soon get a feel of where that back wheel is, saying that I might try put a decent camera on this one for safety!

Mines only a 105c farmall HD but fudge me it’s dangerously light on backend with the stoll loader (Loader does stick well forwards though which is handy)
I filled back tyres with around 800kg of water but it can still get you twitching with a heavy bale on the smallest of bankings
put 800kg on the 3 point linkage for a correct counter balance effect.

What source of muck do you have? Local dairy's? And is there any rules around muck on vegetable ground.
My Landlord has about 6000 cattle running about the place so we clear the corrals we provide grazing on finished crops and get manure in return which we compost.
There are no rules re application but we don’t put any on our export veg.

Not so new. 2014 kane 16t beavertail. Was 4.5k, plan to strip it back to chassis tyres off and get it professionally shot blasted and painted. Fit air brakes, has commercial axles. Started taking floor off today and bearers in good condition underneath. Should maybe start a new thread on refurbishing it.
