I never liked that silver door , looks like it belongs to another machine. Did you look at any other machines.

Not this time, have another which is almost identical, we looked at others when we bought that one. Have been really pleased with it no serious issues in 2 years and a heap of hours. Think this is our 6th manitou.

There is a new safety button on the joystick with this machine.

I was just going to ask if you'd had previous experience with the 'New Ag' machines. We have an early 635, nominally due for a change, but I heard that the stability system had changed after patent case with JCB. Have you noticed it more intrusive, particularly when creeping about ('old' system is disabled when moving) and when do you need to use the extra button?

The 635 was a big step forward from the merc 634 before it - I'd hate to go backwards.

So the older 635 safety system is much more noticeable than that on the 634 was. But we got used to it quickly and given the heavy right foot of some of the drivers here I’m not that worried. I notice it most stacking 4 fert bags at a time and loading seed into the drill at full reach. Not sure of the new one yet as I have only driven it for 5 mins. Ask me again in a month.

Forgot to say the extra button is a safety switch. You need to press it when the hydraulics haven’t been used for about 20 seconds. It is just behind the direction switch so your finger almost rests on it. It seems natural to do much like the direction safety switch on my Fendt joystick
