Reckon you were VERY unlucky to hit a deer on a bike, but I must say it is something I`ve always thought possible, especially on the narrow country roads with trees and hedges that they can appear from at any time.

(PS it was maybe better than telling her too much about the DEARS you hit on before you met her...)

yep very unlucky but it does play on my mind when I’m out now,I managed to stay on but ended up with a bent front wheel,fudged brakes and smashed fairings one side,my ankle has never really been right since either,the deer on the other hand didn’t make it it was literally 300 yards from my house

I would say more than two thirds of the most serious RTA injuries I have seen are in people who were earlier on two wheels. Stay safe out there.

Had a bit shower this morning combine went out about 1ish. Sky has looked dodgy to the west most of the day and lost sight of the cheviots a few times!

10 meters. It’s doing a fantastic job even amazed at how it deals with the long trash in the tramlines that was a little worry going to a tine from a disc cultivator but I wouldn’t have a problem recommending one of these to anyone wanting to do shallow cultivations we are running about 2-3” with it to get the chopped rape straw incorporated.

You sure it’s a cruiser?? I had a 6m on demo in the back end I would say 8” is about maximum and how long the tines would last I don’t know!!

The new baler will not like than very much, only seen 2 combines going this morning on a trip down to Cornhill, most is not ripe yet by the look of it
