New toy day

I entirely agree.
That said we had a Kverneland 6 furrow reversible on our new J D 4250,and to my horror one day I noticed the large cast hydraulic rock shaft housing starting to crack around the securing bolts, which I think was caused when the stress of the plough revolving over on the headlands caused the top link to put great stress on the housing causing it to crack .
Tractor soon changed for Case 7110 Magnum which had a lot beefier backend.
Had something similar happen on a 6930 with kv 5 furrow.:(

Off topic.
To all of you with 5 and 6 furrow fully mounted ploughs what sort of speeds do go at on the road.
The speed I see some guys going at on the road makes me cringe. Why??
The stress going through the top link must be terrific due to the weight, leverage and the odd bounces!!!!🤦🏻😣
Edit.
Despite what others will say, I am sure the plough will be around for many years to come, although perhaps in much reduced numbers.
One of the best things about farming, one can use the techniques that suits one own farm, way of thinking, the fact that , technique or policy may be not the most profitable, efficient, environmentally friendly is the the individual farmer’s own business.👍👍
Flat out

Wasn’t expecting this to land for another month but got a call from the shop to say it had come in. Not had chance to get the scope on yet an try it but it feels really nice.

Speaking of scopes, I couldn’t bring myself to take the Hikmicro Alpex off my BSA as it’s fantastic for ratting so decided to go a different route with this as it will get more daytime use. So, end up getting these as well while I was there 🤦🏻‍♂️. Hawke Airmax 30sf and the new Pard with lrf, just nobody tell the Mrs how much they cost 🤫😂

In my ignorance that type of gun looks as though one needs quite a knack to hold it up , line it up and fire it??
As it looks so different to a gun with a conventional stock.

Does it double as a grease gun?

It’s actually really really comfortable to hold as action is at the rear of the stock which keeps the front light. If you get the chance to hold a bullpup rifle have go you’ll be converted.
