All you need is plane tickets and a Visa for three months or can pay a fee and get a visa for 6 months.
David if you go, fly to Singapore have a few days there sightseeing and on the way back ,stop
at Dubai and do the same . If it’s a one off trip.
Make the most out of the flight.
You could nip over to NZ as well then fly from NZ back to Dubai .
We have done this a few years ago.

The biggest advantage is there is no 3.0 V6 diesel cankshaft/big end or turbo to wreck your bank balance. He says it does around 23 mpg, which considering I only ever got 29/30 out of a diesel version is not much difference when petrol is cheaper at the pumps.

I'd be there in a heartbeat if there was a mining job to do. I'd be hard pressed to decide between that or Canada (probably farming there) if it all comes to that.

Not on this one, it is naturally aspirated. Most other JLR 5.0l engines are though, including my XKR.

Oh ok. So it should be pretty unstressed. Best bought for Australia or something I guess.

Or EGR valve that a friend has had trouble with on both Discoverys he owned.
