New toy day

Our new 320S whistles when your floor it, the 2016 one didn’t. But I wouldn’t call it a horrible noise, neither would I call it a fault? Nobody here has ever commented on it anyway. It’s quite discrete- Doesn’t really matter does it?

That’s the point though. The older models never made any turbo noise.

Anyway I find it annoying as it runs pretty much all day ... the only useful thing is that I know where the machine is around the farm

It sounds like yours is worse than mine then. Mine doesn’t do it if you just rev the engine or are working around the yard- only when it’s on full engine load at about 2000rpm. On the silage clamp or muck heap etc.

No don’t have that, exact same machine as the one it replaced just doesn’t lift as much and is flat on power

Thats unusual. Our new 320s is far gutsier and lifts more than the 2016 one. I think the SLI must be calibrated kindly because you can drive around with the arse in the air and all the functions still work normally. The engine is noticeably more responsive. The previous one was non adblue

Yes exactly same bit of towing and running round stock will get around 200mile from tank pulling all time and on road lessens it abit but got some pull not exactly pulling your average quad trailerView attachment 905615

No dodgy turbo whistling on a 538-60 here but the SLI is a nanny pain in the arse compared to to the 2014 536-60 before. That 2014 machine had a very "relaxed" attitude by comparison

True. It would do me nut people not looking after it tho
Yes I get that but @Bald Rick machine has 700? hrs on clock don't think it's been on farm many months so doesn't seem like there's much time for tidying up any damage or keeping it spotless. Yes it would be good if drivers took as much care of it as a owner driver would or a one driver machine, but I get the impression it's on a dairy farm where anyone jumps on to drive it and does what they need as quick as they can cause there's 3other jobs it should be doing

It’s a tool. It will be gone in three years with over 6000 hours on it.
Gets serviced according to schedule (give or take 100 hrs depending on dealer workshop time) but although it is used primarily by one member of staff, the reality is that every one jumps on it.

Not sure we lose that much on P ex either
