I was told that the slightly larger tyres caused issues putting the header on - in that the under side of the trunking fouled the top of the tyre. So in fitting a slightly smaller tyres it eliminated this issue ??

Brothers boss always says "no use in buying sh!tty loaders for 200k, since you can get a Volvo for 220k". Prices probably aren't that low now though. The last one he bought has done a bit over 4000h and lost none of its value thanks to covid. Dang nice places to spend the day. If i'd be in a line of work to drive them, i'd choose Volvo every day.

We've a rear steering dolly header trailer for ours. It's a challenge to reverse and get your head round going forwards.

We have the option to change it for one of these if we don't like the tandem axle version. Personally I think it'll be fine. Can see reversing being an issue with the four wheeled steering axle here

I remember when I used to do a lot of umbilical pumping in the late 90's early 2000's. Splash plates were about to be banned then apparently.

Good on ya for buying proper tyres instead of the usual stomils or whatever.
How is it dribblebar ready? Has it got a frame right to the end?
Also something that is really apparent compared to tankers overhere, why no coupler on the side? It would save rumning to the back all the time and wrestling with a manure covered coupler. Never seen one without a sidecoupler overhere.
