We do Internet banking but still get the occasional cheque and our local PO which is only 3.5 miles away are OK with business cheques. The PO is in a pub so you can combine it with a pint if you wish.I don't but some do !!
Handy when the misses asks where you've been, 'oh there was a cue at the bar counter at the post office'

Any large purchases £1000 + I always use a cheque, never on card, don't do internet banking and never will. Cheques are coming back big time and not just my customers, talking to staff in the new banking hub in welshpool earlier this week,I was told they couldn't believe the amount of cheques banked since they opened just before Christmas. Figures on a screen don't mean much I think. Shops and pubs tell me cash is getting more popular as well . More control of money.

We'd have paid one of those cheques in there, but only as Welshpool market like to keep our money as long as possible insist on paying by cheque still.
It took even longer to clear via the banking hub than it does paying in at the local post office, so we won’t be using it again!

I rarely write cheques these days, but will always use cash on the rare occasion I get to visit a pub.
